The logo is cool. Any of the Entercom stations do it for you?
They still don't have their playlists working so I can't tell, lol.

They should just copy Cox's WFEZ Easy 93.1FM in Miami. Everyone loves that station there and the ratings are amazing.

105.5 WDUV of Tampa might be a good choice...

I just looked that their playlist, and omg, it's perfect!

No "oh wow" songs, but it has the right idea.

The breeze needs to rename itself Fresh 98.7

Now every other song is newer/upbeat
What a bunch of garbage.

And I'm tired of the same "tell your friends about the new 987 bla bla"
I already stopped promoting the station a month ago. I actually started posting on my instagram to listen to the breeze in S.F. instead

I read an article earlier this morning about how AC is one of the top ranked formats. One caveat, it's "fresh" AC, not Soft AC Gold. Fresh AC makes me puke, nevertheless, it's apparently what saves AC. Exactly how this affects the programming of the brand new The Breeze, I'm not sure, I'm not in the biz, but it doesn't give me much hope for what The Breeze was when it was introduced.

How can anyone want to listen to fresh upbeat music mixed In with a few 80s titles?
The songs don't even mix!

And if that's the case, how are all the Soft AC Gold stations that are sweeping the country all going to number one?

Sounds almost like someone is trying to sabotage the format, trying to force feed this newer music on the public...

And something is definitely affecting 98.7.
Sounds like a completely different station than it was a month ago.

I Oldies 84, Nominate Entercom for creating The Breeze 98.7 in Detroit and what started out as a great sounding station, Then one month into the new format decided to change the music and becoming a GIANT disappointment to what could of been a successful station but instead decided to piss all over itself, And even more importantly pissed on it’s listeners, So to you Entercom this one is for you. Time for people to change their presets on the car stereo and change the station at the office and at home, Good Day Everyone.

Try Love 105 in Minneapolis.

You might also enjoy 99.1 WPLM from Plymouth, MA, but I have no idea if they even stream online.

Madonna finally is playing now for the first time in a month.
Great tune.
La Isle Bonita... (I know I probably just butchered that spelling 😅).
I'm also glad they are playing all the Air Supply songs again that they got rid of. You can't have an AC station without Air Supply

And yes I hope Pam becomes permanent on the station.
And I wish Renee Vitale would do midday all week and not just the weekend.

Since The Breeze stopped playing my Seals and Crofts song, I have Pam playing it right now on WOMC for me. Lol.

What I read from that article: AC=CHR, but advertisers associate AC with listeners over 40, meaning steady work and good income, while CHR is associated with under 40, meaning lower income, odd hours, and "home" being whatever friend's house will take him/her in for the night.

AC has never been CHR.
AC is similar but definitely not the same.
The original purpose of an AC station is to play the current and recurrent songs on the Hot AC chart.

That obviously had to change due to the drastic change in music, so most would play much older songs, thus stalling the AC charts.

Today it's a jumbled mess of nobody knows what.
The mainstream AC stations play very few current hits with mostly recurrents and random 80s songs mixed in.
That makes no sense and sounds like garbage.

They need to be either AC Gold or Hot AC imo only.
Today's music does not mix well anymore with older music like it did 15 years ago.

EDIT:
Why is my Seals and Crofts song scheduled to play only like twice a week in the middle of the night, Lol. Nobody is awake to hear it besides me :lol
I don't suggest these songs for myself to hear. I can hear it 20 times a day on my phone.
