She did a great job on the early morning show. I wish her the best in her next opportunity.

I used to love the interactions between her and Kevin Matthews when they were both at LAV.

Happy trees and happy clouds.

I didn't think to tune them in yesterday, when I was moving north on I-196 in the overstated Winter Storm Warning region. (There were problems, like a semi through the cabling system in the median near Ganges, but travel was 50 mph+ all along)

At 4:30, WKZO played a Michigan News Network cast, a 90 second canned piece by John McNeill and no weather forecast. Kind of a sign of the times.

There is no mention of Ms Murphy that I could find on whtc.com. Sad as she made the news reports listenable. News director Gary Stevens has the personality of a slug.

Just saw a posting on WGHN's Facebook that Mary Ellen Murphy is replacing Jesse Bruce on the afternoon shift at 92.1 starting May 21 as he transitions into a behind the scenes role at the station.

Is that per week?

RIP Dick McAuliffe. Always could count on Mac to be there when one went up the middle.
