WWMT/CW-7, Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek, MI has an immediate opening for a full-time meteorologist. Candidate must have the NWA, AMS or CBM seal. Experience with Weather Central and Barons, a plus. Looking for a creative and energetic talent who is technically savvy. I want more than just a forecaster, I need a storyteller who delivers on air. Prior extended severe weather coverage is a must. Maybe WDIV Local 4 can sent their Weather Dog and Eric Braate to do the weather in West Michigan .

WES CALLISON has accepted an offer to become the new Weekday Morning Meteorologist at KCCI, Hearst's CBS affiliate in Des Moines. Callison, who's currently the weekend meteorologist at WWMT in Kalamazoo, Michigan, will start at the end of August.

Tim Ragones is also leaving WWMT (according to http://twitter.com/timragones). He is moving to Chicago for a non-TV job.
