Seems if a college has so much short term working capital on hand that they can invest 300 million, they should instead invest in lowering tuition or provide scholarships.
Some registered account users are experiencing password recognition issues. The issue appears to have been triggered by a PHP update on October 30. If this is occurring, please try logging in and using the "forgot password?" utility. Bear in mind auto-generated password reset emails may appear in your spam folder. If this does not work, please click the "Contact Us" option near the lower right hand corner of the index page to contact me via email. I have responded to all password reset requests received through 6a ET on November 7. You should see an email from the "Admin" email account.
November 9 update: Due to app errors, I have disabled the Tapatalk plug-in. As such, the Buzzboard is currently unavailable in Tapatalk. I am trying to do a clean reinstall, but each reinstall attempt is generating database errors. I am hopeful that the issue will be able to be resolved in the next few days.
Thank you for your patience!

UofM has the third lowest tuition in the state, and if you get in and can't afford it, they will subsidize your tuition. They have more money in endowment than our state.Graham Wellington wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 12:41 pm https://www.freep.com/story/news/educat ... 656357007/

I do not find it appropriate for them to invest in specific for-profit companies,
I think investing in local banks is fine as long as the principal is FDIC insured.

Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

Yes I do. What is your source that states UofM's tuition is the third lowest in the state?TC Talks wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 4:08 pmUofM has the third lowest tuition in the state, and if you get in and can't afford it, they will subsidize your tuition. Lowest (Flint is 40)
4th Lowest (Dearborn is 36)
10th Lowest (Ann Arbor is 30)
I'll let you do the rest of the math but if you're going to be snarky, be sure you're correct.

Michigan has done exceptionally well with the in-state population: https://goblueguarantee.umich.edu/ann-arbor/Graham Wellington wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 7:44 pmYes I do. Beef Wellington probably didn't go to college and doesn't understand how awesome UofM has been.Matt wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 8:00 pmMichigan has done exceptionally well with the in-state population: https://goblueguarantee.umich.edu/ann-arbor/Graham Wellington wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 7:44 pmYes I do. It's OK TC. I forgive you. We shouldn't lie though. We should use facts and truth. You've learned a valuable lesson tonight. Now go brush your teeth and I'll tuck you in.
