It seems that Barnes And Noble Booksellers are NOT coming to Traverse City, MI. I believe that is the only thing that Traverse City, MI does NOT have!!!

Traverse City has several good bookstores. They don't need a Barnes and Noble. Horizon Books is larger than any store I know in metro Detroit and also has an LGBT section. The Bookie Joint on Union Street does as well. There are also several art galleries. My only "beef" with the city is the food options. Very beautiful boardwalk in the summer as well as a zoo.

Traverse City is too small for a Barnes and Noble.

We also have no boardwalk or zoo...

For a bookstore that announced 13 months ago that it would 'close sometime in 2020' (Horizon), it just goes to show that you cannot believe everything you read coming out of Traverse City... :razz

I thought you did have a zoo. Maybe that's Petoskey.

I guess by boardwalk, I meant dock/pier. It's quite long.
