I am listening to WMUZ playing “Everything I want in my lady” by Will Downing which has a very jazzy feel to it. It sounds like something Delilah would play or something from Pillow Talk.
Next song: Now, they are playing instrumental jazz with no vocals.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through June 3 at 5:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

WMUZ Stunting?
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Not stunting. This is a weekly program the station airs early Sunday evenings.
The station has a sports talk program, too.
Both of these shows have been heard on WMUZ for at least a few years.

I don't know who will go first, WRIF or WMUZ. Both have been with their respective formats for decades upon decades. The day either of those stations flip, I'll be looking for the four horsemen.

It was weird. I am flipping through the dial and hear “sexy” on WMUZ and my jaw hit the floor. I did hear a few minutes after this post that it was a WCHB simulcast. Still, I was surprised. Thanks for clearing it up.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 6:52 pmNot stunting. This is a weekly program the station airs early Sunday evenings.

Crawford has secular stations in Denver, and Birmingham, AL at least, so it wouldn't totally surprise me if they tried something similar in Detroit.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 6:52 pmNot stunting. This is a weekly program the station airs early Sunday evenings.

So you’re saying my hash pipe dream of smooth jazz coming back full time to Detroit isn’t going to come true?MWmetalhead wrote:Not stunting. This is a weekly program the station airs early Sunday evenings.
