Warren had sirens going off just after 4.00p…….. we were given the “take cover/shelter” warning at work.

It was scary for a few with sideways rain and green skies ….. but was done about 15 min after it started

Same thing for a friend that works for GM at the Warren Tech Center. They interrupted their workday to take cover, including having to drop an overseas video conference. As far as he knows, that's way out of the norm for them - virtually nothing gets in the way of work.

When the severe thunderstorm warning was reissued to add St. Clair county (while retaining much of Macomb County), the "tornado possible" tag was added.

That likely explains why the sirens were sounded.
