Get ready. Another accumulating snow event looks possible from late Tuesday night into Wednesday. A very early guess at accumulation potential is 1 to 4 inches.

Long range models continue to show an extended push of mild air starting on or near April 7, so I am hopeful the Wednesday system will mark the very last accumulating snow event until next autumn.

I’m still holding off on spring cleanup for this reason. I don’t want to get burned too badly by false spring conditions.

The good news is the storm system tracked farther west than what model runs several days ago suggested.

The heavy snow will be confined to a wide swath of Wisconsin plus the upper peninsula. NW lower should also see some minor to medium accumulation.

Some snow showers or mixed showers are certainly possible here from Wednesday night to very early Friday morning, especially at night and early morning, but accumulations should be no greater than a thin coating.

Tornado warning for much of the Lansing Metro is in effect. Rotation on radar is not that impressive at the moment. There is some weak rotation on the south side of the city moving NNE.

Would not surprise me if a wall cloud or very brief / very weak tornado occurred in or near Dearborn Heights based on radar animation I just viewed.

Another dud weather report from channel 2, 4 7 and 62 to make it sound like it’s the apocalypse.

Just a regular normal storm that dumped rain and has left in 30 mins.

There were pockets of tree damage not far from Metro Airport.

Both St. Clair Co. and Lambton Co. (ON) are now under a Warning. The typical threat of hail, wind gusts, and heavy rain are all possible.

Looks like a brief tornado touchdown or a gustnado may have occurred in Macomb County's Washington Township.

Damage shown on Fox 2 looked like tornado damage and not straight line wind damage. Debris was mangled and twisted.

There was nothing more than a regular Spring storm where I live. The hardest hit area was Lansing. Some parts of Eastern Michigan had wind damage.

There is damage in quite a few towns with Ferndale and Washington both shown on all of the stations with roofing town off buildings.

I would say all stations nailed this one. 62 is also reporting 1 person was injured in Ferndale according to police.

4 Just sent a push alert for its 10pm webcast calling it “massive damage across metro Detroit”…. Just a tad exaggerated me thinks…

Rate, I can't disagree with you there. That one is a failure for 4.

The 11pm was just as bad calling it a trail of destruction while 7 called it storm damage. Their constant hype train on everything is not a bright spot even if they are number one.

The damage was isolated certainly. A few spots did get hit hard.
