I'm beginning to hear DJs on both 88.7 and 93.9.
Yesterday afternoon, I heard former 89X afternoon driver, Nathan Carr (who was incredibly boring on 89X and appeared to have zero passion for the music) handling on-air duties at Pure Country 89.
He actually fits the country format better, in my opinion.
Former 89X midday personality J Stevens now handles middays at 93.9. Given the fact his voice appeared on some of the sweepers teasing the new format, that's not terribly surprising.
By the way, 93.9's audio processing still sounds HORRIBLE for a CHR/Pop station. It lacks high end frequency response, proper audio imaging, and isn't loud enough. Aurally, 95.5 & 96.3 sound SO much better!
Acceptable registrations in the queue through April 26 at 9:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Bobby Bones's morning show now airs on 88.7 as well.
