I'll miss the superb audio engineering during Ron's show on WPON.

I found the loud AC hum that nearly drowned out his voice whenever he was on mic to be very soothing!
lol that humming sound reminded me of a “shop light” just became background noise and part of the Ron Cameron experience

For the longest time you could never stream via Bluetooth, last few months though something changed and you were able to
Aaron here again. The streaming thing was a problem too because again, our engineer doesn't know what he's doing. He wired the left channel backwards, so the phasing was off any anytime you played it on a mono device, like some Alexa devices, it would be completely garbled. Plus, music played over the air would sound like instrumentals. Had to fix that blunder and now it sounds fine. All that's left is the hum.
That’s great of you to fix this issue, obviously added more options when listening to Ron’s sports talk and your show as well :)

With the start of the Tigers season today, I wonder if radio broadcaster Dan Dickerson will pay his respects to the passing of one of his most attentive listeners—Ron Cameron.

(Notice that I didn't say "one of his biggest fans") :)

Ron Cameron couldn’t be one of DD’s biggest fans because he was too busy being Ron Cameron’s biggest fan.

I see in April it’s a Dan Dickerson 25th anniversary bobble head night

Clearly, Ron squatted first, but maybe Dan has squatted best in the market. Know that if someone grounds to short this afternoon or evening, the fielder heads to second to create a force, then tosses to first to complete "an unassisted double play," a small part of this observer will have died in West Michigan.

Hello Buzzboards, Aaron here, with a little update on the WPON Hum situation. I finally got the box installed and it works.

If anyone wants to tune into WPON's AM signal and give me your field results, that would be awesome.

Scott Harris is being interviewed this inning. I’m waiting on hearing about how he’ll involve Lance Parrish this season.

Apparently Ron’s doctor didn’t know he died. That’s very sad.

Could be his dentist or foot doctor.
It is sad that Ron will apparently end up in potter's field.

It’s hard to imagine Ron not informing any doctor in his life who he was, & that previously uninitiated doctor not showing some curiosity by googling Ron. Leading, perhaps, to the discovery of this thread.

I hope Windsor Dave enjoyed the first Tigers game of the post-Combero era.

Hey, Aaron. I'm listening to Linsey Renee today, (Friday), and I do believe that you have eliminated the "Hum From HELL"!
I've also been aware of the phasing issue you mentioned, and thank you for addressing that. So THIS is what it's supposed to sound like? That's more like it! Thank you.
