What happened to GET TV?

Post by videocollectore » Sat Jun 02, 2018 3:22 pm

Did WADL dump GET TV? For the past couple of days we've been getting AM910 radio on 38.3 instead of GET.

According to a response I got from GET, they are aware and are working to resolve a problem. We'll see if GET TV does return or not.

Until then, we get to watch WFDF's clown car dashcam, 24/7.

Sounds like "Get TV" got lost.

Wonder if they'll pop up somewhere else soon?

Radio's downfall has been under-investing in its core competency and becoming distracted by delusions of grandeur by thinking development of a half-assed national digital strategy will somehow put it on par with the Facebooks and Googles of the world.

It's available on Channel 373 on the Dish Network. ME-TV was recently added to Dish as well.

Having GET on Direct and DISH doesn't help those that have cut the cord. I dumped all pay tv services 2 years ago.

There was a classic "experiencing technical difficulties, we'll have the problem resolved soon". There was some dude from 910 broadcasting from the rear end of his Bus on Belle Isle and discussing the Pistons - and even fielding phone calls! Weird! Yet... at least different and mildly entertaining.

Looks like GetTV will be searching for a new home on the dial in the D as it has been replace by........Quest TV?????

That channel is also on low power WUDL rf19............Hey WADL why not bring something not on the dial like Sinclair's ChargeTV action movies???

Makes no sense............ :barf

According to WADL, they did not drop GET, GET dropped them.

Interesting J-Ten, they both appear to be blaming each other.

That's what WADL did with Comcast when they removed Antenna TV

One time, I got WYZZ Peoria 330 miles away indoors clearly for 10 minutes on Dec 5, 2015

Sounds like WADL doesn't subscribe to very trustworthy business practices.

I know they at least do on their Cozi subchannel.

For three days in January 2017 (15th, 16th, 19th) and one night in September 2017 (22nd), I managed to receive KDKA Pittsburgh from 202 miles away indoors!

I liked some of the weekend movies GET TV would play, but really didn't watch it that much.
Wish someone with a good powerful signal would pick up both CometTV and ChargeTV.
To bad CBS doesn't like subchannels, Channel 50 WKBD would be a great place to have the two together.

Consult your local listings come this fall (you didn't hear that from me).

WHNE has reached out to GET-TV about affiliating with them but the folks at GET have not responded back according my sources.
