Does Salem even care about ratings? I see their stations as clearances for their national hosts. How many Salem stations have one more than one paid token local host?

Salem doesn’t care about ratings but they manage to make some money and have a couple Heritage stations across the country, And I personally think that WJR would be a perfect fit for them.

If any station should flip to FM (or simulcast) it’s WWJ. Sometimes, I can barely get the station in my car.. and forget about my house. It really is ridiculous.

Salem would wipe out WJR's news department, would eliminate all non-political programming (except for Paul W. maybe), and would load up weekends with reruns and paid programming.

TERRIBLE idea!!!!

Another good idea, If The Breeze flops then flip 98.7 to WWJ, I’m tired of the Rice Krispies snap crackle and pop
in the summer during bad weather trying to get weather info on warnings and barely hearing WWJ on AM.

Trying to get WWJ at night here in Brighton is a crapshoot at best. Terrible fading and fighting with another 950. I'd love to have it on FM since it's my first choice of listening in the car.

The question is, Can The Breeze maintain that 4.0.?
