MSU-related

Post by SolarMax » Fri Jan 26, 2018 3:16 pm

There have been interviews with Sue Carter, who, in protest, has resigned as Michigan State’s faculty athletic representative.
Wasn't there a Sue Carter who worked in local radio news, maybe WWJ, many years ago? Same person? One of the stories made mention of her having taught broadcast journalism at one time.

Yes...I believe she also did radio news in the Lansing market in the late 70's and early 80's.

Now in the mix is evidence that the NCAA was alerted in 2010.

As usual, Bob Wojnowski seems to have the most rational grip on the situation. http://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports ... 109852838/

As for Sue Carter, a snippet from this article, http://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports ... 109771562/ , says: Carter is a professor in the MSU School of Journalism and joined the faculty in 1991 after a 17-year career as a news broadcaster and talk show host at radio and television stations in Michigan, Connecticut and Ontario, Canada.
