Surprised Moss missed the story how Hanlon played a major part in helping his PM drive host move from his Caledonia and Hanlon's home in Ada so Hanlon could purchase the palatial estate behind Forest Hills Eastern HS.

WOTS is the host needed a larger home for his family and Hanlon needed a buyer for his place. Problem was solved when Hanlon got his host a new, lucrative contract that would allow the host to sell his place in Caledonia and qualify for a mortgage to buy Hanlon's place in Ada.

The host, with Hanlon's approval had his then wife paid as the webmaster for his former Sunday national broadcast Hanlon set him up with at dozens of stations in the hinterlands.

I do think its typical of all big radio to enforce non-compete. The way some are written broadcast companies can effectively keep anyone who signs a contract off the air for a year. Rich Michaels got the boot and reportedly ended up having to go to Florida to escape his contract's non-compete clause. Helluva it is that the game could cost any on air host extended time off if his employer would take him off the air.

Well, don't forget Moss knows nothing about the GR market. Moss only became aware of 5XL because 5XL came at him on Twitter for reasons known only to 5XL. Probably trying to suck up to the Detroit media to get a job in a bigger market.
