It’s truly sad what has happened to this station, Ever since the Smooth Jazz Format left the 98.7 frequency this station has continued to fail with the Amp format and now with the Breeze format. 98.7. will never have good ratings with this latest experiment, This station needs to do something entirely different but what could they do? Any ideas?

Nope, locally programmed and live talent besides Kayla Morgan in the evening.

I've been listening to the Breeze the last couple of days: It sounds voice-tracked to me. I maybe wrong, but I don't hear any announcers other than traffic and weather. No song, fore or back announcing, nothing. I do like the music mix, but that's just personal taste. I don't know how successful it'll be.

Some clarifications are in order: 1. The Breeze's contest/studio line is 313-298-9870. 2. Sandy Kovach can also voice-track portions of her show at her home studio, which she uses for several voice-over gigs she does. 3. Neither Sandy nor Kayla are permanent full-time Entercom employees, thus no mention of them on the stations website. Tim has still not hired a permanent full-time evening host. This leads me to believe that he may be waiting for a competing local talent to finish the remainder of their contract or non-compete. 4. I'm still trying to get Johnny Williams to apply/send in a demo for the position.

Yes, he is! I saw him in July, 2017, @ Jo-Jo's annual CKLW Tribute Reunion in Harrison Twp. He still does voice-over work. He doesn't post or reply much on Facebook... looks younger than his age (early 70's).
