I was a big fan of Tom Force's on-air work!

There was an old aircheck floating around of him doing a shift on Mix 92.3 right shortly after the station launched. 92.3 had an awesome sound at the time, and Force sounded sensational! That one might still be available online somewhere. I likely found it on Motor City Radio Flashbacks.

You mentioned 92.3 and Force, Was he on 92.3 when it was The Wave?

I'm not sure. The aircheck I heard was right after the station flipped from The Wave to Mix 92.3.

Mix 92.3 sounded more Rhythmic Hot AC than Urban AC/Classic Soul in its earliest days.
