I agree with the other posters that Cool-FM is far better, too bad that can't be on 88.7, it'd probably garner a 1.5-2.0 on average if it was.

I wonder if the brew in Grand Rapids will go a similar route like 106.7 did.

I have to agree, this is a very bad attempt at variety hits.
I love Cool FM, they focus on the 60s-90s mostly and a good mix of genres.
I do miss their Lite-FM format tho

I hope they add more pop hits (70's,80's 90's)..... Throw in some motown, a Frank Sinatra hit every now and then, with a sprinkle of re-current songs. That is a true Variety hits station!
My question is will they stay on the track they're on now and be a "rock hits of the 80's, 90's and 70's" station like they were under the Alice 106.7/106.7 The Drive branding.... or will they eventually add the above to the playlist?

This almost sounds like Alice 2.0, to a tee. I remember when Alice first launched, it took over 6 months to get an air staff in place and it was a very repetitive playlist. We shall see how long this lasts.
The All new 102.7 Brian FM... the one all the others will be listening to...
