You cannot accuse him of trading his divorce, though.

Hey, have you heard the new Barry Sanders spot, endorsing that divorce attorney. He references his divorce with Loren. I didn't know that it was acrimonious. He infers that she initiated it. Interesting.
Barry was the plaintiff.

Any of our local newscasts could inflate this into at least a five minute segment-

Well, well. It's Ten O'clock on Wednesday, and someone's trying to put a newscast on the air on WMYD. But it's just a big silent green screen of death, cutting in and out to black and an occasional still from an infomercial. Wait, now it's 10:03, and the show is finally under way. The screen side banner says "Lodge Accident," as a story runs about a wreck on I-696 and Telegraph (neither of which is "The Lodge"). They must be just so proud of WXYZ over at Scripps.

I'd like to ask "Why be live?".

Me personally, I wouldn't notice if the newscast was on a delay. I'm not going to notice if it didn't show LIVE in the corner of the screen when a street reporter is at the scene of a fire or accident. Seems lately that Broadcast House has been having more and more technical difficulties lately. Being on a tape delay may reduce the gaffes before they make it on air. I'm certain viewers would not notice.

I recognize a few people on this board would have a fit, and carry on like it's a major crime. But would it really be a big deal to Joe Viewer?

On channel 4 they had a report on the resignation of Zimbabwe's leader Robert Mugabe. They said he's 97, actually he's 93.

Wow - that's really bad considering the mixing bowl interchange is only a little more than a mile from the TV station!

Not to mention that it's literally visible right out the windows of that mid-rise office building that WMYD was based out of pre-Scripps (are they still based in that tower today?).

For three days in January 2017 (15th, 16th, 19th) and one night in September 2017 (22nd), I managed to receive KDKA Pittsburgh from 202 miles away indoors!

All of 20’s operations are at Broadcast House if I remember right...

Starting off the NFL Kickoff a few minutes ago, there was absolutely no dialogue at all, though you can still see the hosts mouthing words. The music remained fully intact.

Sometimes that is the best way to watch them.

The audio issues can't catch a break, can they?

In this latest example, after the intro sequence, tonight's Michigan Lottery drawings had no background music at all. This somehow made the experience a bit eerie.

It’s a little eerie just because of the computer voice... without music is just creepy...

Does anybody remember the last time they had an actual human pull the numbers from a machine?

Did I just hear Jennifer Ann Wilson give viewers a non-sensical detour route to get around a double lane closure along westbound 96 at Kent Lake? "Take Kensington to Pontiac Trail" she says. What????

Uhhh....

Get off at Milford Road to Pontiac Trail, continue on Silver Lake to Kensington back to 96 maybe?

Better yet, just get off at Milford (or Wixom or Beck) to Grand River to Kensington and back to 96.

Here's one. I was listening to the ticket and the discussion was about firing Caldwell.
A caller was listing reasons to keep him and mentioned that the host only wanted to ice the Coach because he's African American. The caller just slid it in, there. Really low in volume and sneaky. The host must've heard part of it, because he said "i beg your pardon" and the caller said something totally different. It could've been a Ba Ba Booey moment.

Last night The Duke Blue Devils beat the Northern Illinois Huskies 36 to 10 in The Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field. WWJ announce said Duke Daredevils, (maybe that nit picking, I'm not sure?)

Something different this time, one from the other side of the great border. Watching the CBLT news right now and at around 11:06 they suddenly cut to a middle of a weather report on CBOT in Ottawa!

Was this a wallop on CBET's part or did Toronto viewers see this too?

On channel 2 News cast there was a story tonight about a man who was caught masturbating in a hot tub at a fitness club. During it one of the witness said the word "Jacking Off." Right now I don't if that is bad as dropping the F Bomb, (but then again that's what he was doing.) I await all the good folks out there to chime in and call me a pervert.
