I don't know that call letters matter much these days given the PPM ratings formula, however I would think WDBZ-FM (We're Detroit's Breeze) would make a lot of sense. I think WDBZ-AM in Cincinnati are the only variation of those call letters taken.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through May 12 at 7:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Call letters are really meaningless in radio today just leave it the way it is.No one cares people Identify it as The Breeze 98.7 that’s it.Keep it simple.By the way it’s not an Easy Rock station there is also some R&B and some Country as well.

Well true, unless your call letters are in your station brand name.

It is a soft rock station. Rhythmic AC and some classic rock fits in the format, as well as classic country. It’s definitely a soft rocker... or soft AC.RadioKev wrote:Call letters are really meaningless in radio today just leave it the way it is.No one cares people Identify it as The Breeze 98.7 that’s it.Keep it simple.By the way it’s not an Easy Rock station there is also some R&B and some Country as well.

Soft AC's nicknames are "Soft Rock" "Lite Rock" "Easy Rock", etc.
That doesn't mean it's strictly rock music though, which is why the proper term is "Adult Contemporary".
Soft Rock is just a format nickname.
Music is my life.

WZRC-AM incidentally is a Cantonese station serving New York City on 1480... WDZR is what 102.7 K-Love here in Detroit used to go by... so both work...

I thought 102.7 was WPZR.

Interesting story that recalls the era of WZRC, WDLZ, WKTA, and WDZR.

TV channel 2, Baton Rouge. Frequent sporadic-E catch before the transition, it was at just the right distance for Es.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 21, 2018 8:44 pmWhat about WDEZ
