780 & 105.9 in Chicago have been reported on a joint basis for a long time. They haven't been listed on a separate basis for years. Remember, 105.9's calls remain WCFS. "WBBM-FM" belongs to their CHR sister station, B96.
Thanks; I always confuse the WCFS/WBBM-FM thing.

I would simulcast on 96.3 for a few months and have 96.3 become WJR FM. Sell 760 to some religious outfit and that would be it. I'm sure the religious broadcasters can afford whatever the offer is.
Oh my gosh this would so awesome. Some kid flips on 96.3 to hear a song by the Beibs, and instead hears to two guys bitching about the government stealing our gas powered cars and forcing us to buy electric. Yep, that's a winner!
Oh my gosh, I can’t imagine any kid today even listening to AM or FM radio. All these spoiled brats already have smartphones at the age of 12 (maybe even younger) and they’re streaming Spotify, Pandora or Apple Music. Of course Mommy and Daddy have to make sure that these brats are going to get their way and get that smartphone for them.
Stations are not marketing for kids anyway. They don't have money
Music is my life.

Sean and Shep had Gregg Henson on and I agree with him and a couple commenters on here a second sports station definitely could work here IF done right which obviously 105.1 wasn’t. Wasn’t there a report by Tony Paul in 2019-2020ish that WJR was planning to transition to more sports talk and flip 96.3 to WJR FM??

I’ve long been annoying on this board for how bad I want a second sports station because 97.1 has never been for me.

No, there was not. Perhaps 93.1 but certainly not 96.3.

Cumeless missed the boat when they had the Lions on WJR to launch a second sports station. Cumeless should have dumped GNash-FM/New Country 93.1 for sports talk sometime around 2019. They should have also made a play for the Michigan Football broadcast rights and paired them with the Lions rights. I would like to see iHateLocalRadio dump WLLZ and try to revive the Fan on 106.7. I highly doubt though that they would make the effort to invest in a fully live and local sports station given that they refused to put WDFN on 106.7 the last time it was around and successful.

Sports is one of the most expensive formats to pull off successfully.

Half assing it like the 105.1 abomination won't get it done.

That's the main reason The Ticket has no competition.
