Joe Morgan (the REAL Joe Morgan, not the racist ex-manager ,who'll be 88 Nov.19 ) is 75 today . 80ssports,I may see Cowboy today or tomorrow, and if I do,I'll ask him to ask Denny about his podcast with Bob Page . I'd like to see the boys, who were best buds, reconcile before they leave this mortal coil .

Reading a bunch of box scores and not very well I might add is awful radio. Anything more than an hour of open line is a tough listen.

I have never heard this kid that was acting producer on Saturday. It sounds like Ron has no patience for the kids that don't his quirks and what he likes and doesn't like. I agree with you 313- Ron needs a guest for at least 1hr each day. There was no mention of Bob Page's return to Detroit with Denny on that Eli podcast unless I zoned out during one of his commercials. Does Ron just choose to ignore that?

I think that was Matt. He's done it a couple times. But true Alex has by far the most ability and clout with Ron to steer a conversation or subject while Joey is good also. They keep him in line more. How long has Alex been on with Ron? I'm sure he ignored Bob Page on purpose.

Cameron probably told the boys not to mention Page or he'd beat them up .(Or with Ron's girth, sit on them would be more appropriate.)

The energy on the show yesterday was much better than last week and Dan Leach was entertaining. Not bad for two and a half hours.

So I heard Ron has been MIA on his Friday show the last couple weeks. Perhaps he has got wise and decided to ditch that gig. Anyone know the guests this weekend? I tuned in at 5 last Saturday only to find out he started at 3. Is it 3 tomorrow also?

On his Sat/Sun shows last week, Ron claimed he’d taken a nasty fall, injuring some ribs. Usually when Ron’s ailing, the Friday show gets skipped.

Nasty fall .Not a good sign, given Ron's poor health at age 73. Hope he can host his show Saturday and Sunday.

Good show with Lance and RC this past weekend. What's up with Alex ? I heard him on one weekend and off this past weekend. Is Alex just doing cameos on the show now? Does Ron have guests lined up this weekend?

Alex said he was moving to Kalamazoo on one of the shows previously a month or so back so he must come back here and there and do it when he is back around. He also called a time or 2 from Kalamazoo. The show isint the same without him and Ron let him share his often contrasting opinion more than the others. You can tell he finds some of Ron's takes crazy.

Alex keeps him in check. Denny had told Ron that Bob Page had given Ron much credit in his career and Ron had to go into the cancer scare story. You can tell it was something Ron has blown out of proportion. Ron will take the grudge to the grave instead of giving his listeners what they want.
