Next chapter of job losses is bound to come with IHeart's twisting of its debt in the next few months. Expect small market spinoffs and job consolidations between large markets. Predictions?

I question which of the big two radio companies will start selling off their properties to cover debt first. I suspect IHeart will begin by divesting of its properties from the Toledo sized markets downward, and in the next few months. We could see the same procedure with Cumulus also. The big problem may be in finding buyers. I have talked with employes at both operations and they aren't feeling good about their futures.
