That tornado was an EF-3 if I'm not mistaken, and it was long track to boot.Under Byron Allen's ownership, this obviously has not happened at all. They received quite a bit of backlash for not covering the tornado in Dayton last Memorial Day that caused lots of damage, injured some people, and even killed one woman. It wouldn't surprise me if happens again this year, with another dangerous storm.
The fact a storm of that severity hitting a fairly large city was not covered live is a complete disgrace.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

But The Weather Channel will give you 32 radar views of a piddly little shower in Atlanta.

Speaking of early cable, I'm reminded I have two playlists filled of classic cable TV ranging from the 70's to the 90's.

Agreed. I remember back in 2014 when The Weather Channel said that they were the only weather outlet to tell the whole story and that DirecTV dropping them would be a threat to public safety. When DirecTV finally dropped them, there was an extreme backlash on their social media feeds. I miss the Weather Channel of the '80s, 90's and 2000s.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 7:54 pmThat tornado was an EF-3 if I'm not mistaken, and it was long track to boot.Under Byron Allen's ownership, this obviously has not happened at all. I much prefer WeatherNation over TWC. WN just reports the weather, not much else. That’s a good thing.

AMC took some heat for airing the old B/W movies and they decided about the time TCM came around that they would take on commercials and show newer color films. When host, Bob Dorian retired the jump was made. Robert Osborn was to be considered to replace Dorian but pulled out when he got contacted by TCM.
When TNT first aired it was mainly older movies from the same source that spawned TCM.

Weather Nation seems to have picked up the ball where The Weather Channel falls short. It's what I watch for severe weather info these days. Some OTA channels (such as WJRT) include it as a sub-channel, but you can also watch it online via PC, mobile app or streaming box.
The Weather Channel has lost its focus. It's pretty much useless anymore.

Shortwave is the ORIGINAL satellite radio.
