Or, do as BMW apparently supports:
Trump has promised to take funds from private-university endowments to create a government-backed “American Academy” that would provide free online courses and allow people to achieve the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree.

He would attempt to implement college entrance and exit exams across the existing U.S. higher-education system and impose new standards in an effort to defend “the American tradition.” He has said he would create a new credentialing body to certify teachers “who embrace patriotic values and support the American Way of Life.”
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

Not sure how you conclude "apparent support" from me citing poll numbers, but whatever.

My position on federal funding of education is that the federal government should not be involved in education, PERIOD.

You skipped over the important part to incorrectly attempt to correct me. Are you part of the true believer 36% or the incremental 11% who are willing to put a wannabe dictator back in the Oval?

When you vote for Trump, you get the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's a package deal.

And that's all I'm going to say at the moment. I'm not taking the bait on this topic from someone who defends Jim Harbaugh at all costs.

Here's the things I support or am at least open to:
In a bid to secure the U.S.-Mexico border, Trump says he will move thousands of troops currently stationed overseas and shift federal agents, including those at the Drug Enforcement Administration and FBI, to immigration enforcement. He also wants to build more of the border wall.

Trump has proposed a four-year plan to phase out Chinese imports of essential goods, including electronics, steel and pharmaceuticals.

Trump says he will ask Congress to pass a bill establishing that “only two genders,” as determined at birth, are recognized by the United States. He would push Congress to prohibit hormonal or surgical intervention for transgender minors in all 50 states.

He would roll back Biden administration efforts to encourage the adoption of electric cars and reverse proposed new pollution limits that would require at least 54% of new vehicles sold in the U.S. to be electric by 2030.

he will exit the Paris Climate Accords, end wind subsidies and eliminate regulations imposed and proposed by the Biden admiration targeting incandescent lightbulbs, gas stoves, dishwashers and shower heads.

Trump has pledged to terminate the Department of Education

He has said he would cut funding for any school that has a vaccine or mask mandate

he says he will support school districts that allow trained teachers to carry concealed weapons. He would provide federal funding so schools can hire veterans, retired police officers, and other trained gun owners as armed school guards.

Trump wants to force the homeless off city streets by building tent cities on large open parcels of inexpensive land. At the same time, he says he will work with states to ban urban camping, giving violators the choice between being arrested or receiving treatment.

He also wants to bring back large mental institutions to reinstitutionalize those who are “severely mentally ill” or “dangerously deranged.”

Most of that simply won’t be effective… some of it is evidence of severe drug use… the last two if done humanely are A-ok by me. I had the pleasure of stepping right over a guy passed out on the sidewalk in front of the DIA today.

A lot of bigger government in that list. If you eliminate the Department of Education, are you assuming federal student aid programs and other funding mechanisms move to Treasury? How does he cut aid to schools that have vaccine or mask mandates (do those even still exist?) - schools are funded on the state and local level. Is he proposing to override local control? The last point seems unfair to some of his most rabid followers. Additionally, would be turn himself in, or would the WH be converted to a large mental institution?

MAGA's care more about gun rights than the lives of our citizens.
Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty-six
