Mike Pence, out

I think Mike is correct, saying Trump and Him governed the best together, and the Trump has made no conservative promises this time.

He hasn't ruled out endorsing Trump - embarrassing.

Why would he endorse someone who called for his execution?

He is making a wise decision leaving the race.

Ultimately, I'd like to see this become a Trump vs. DeSantis vs. Haley race. I had high hopes for Tim Scott, but he hasn't delivered yet.

I was gonna agree!

I misunderstood the meaning of the thread title at first. When I first read it, I thought "I KNEW it!"

Tim Scott is running a hopeless from the beginning quixotic campaign he never had a chance of doing anything with. He doesn’t really have a base and the party is not going to nominate a black man. It’s just not up the alley of the bulk of their voters at the moment.

Wrong as usual - the KENTUCKY GOP has nominated a black man for governor. Tim Scott has been underwhelming as a candidate to this point. Stop with the race baiting.

Luckily Kentucky speaks for the other 49 states and proves collectively… NOTHING. Thanks for your crack analysis. As a whole the party is NOT going to nominate someone who isn’t white. You might have some broad support here or there like Cameron… but that doesn’t somehow translate to a national level automatically.

I hope your edit is wrong but will acknowledge even I'd bet on Trump being the nominee. You're spot on with the baseless racism comment though. If we were like Democrats, Tim Scott would be our nominee on the basis of skin color alone.
