I like Tim Scott but his debate performances were largely flat. He also lacked the name recognition that most of the serious contenders enjoy.

This has been a Trump - DeSantis - Haley race since debate #2.

If Scott makes an endorsement, it could prove impactful in Iowa, where he had been polling near 7 percent.
