Block parties aren't the safest things to attend these days

Post by bmw » Sun Jul 02, 2023 11:19 am

-On June 19, a mass shooting just southwest of Chicago killed 1 and injured 22.
-On June 24, a mass shooting in Saginaw killed 2 and injured 12
-Today, a mass shooting in Baltimore killed 2 and injured 28.

That's 67 people shot (5 killed) at 3 different block parties in less than 2 weeks. Where's the media outrage over these shootings?

I googled each party a bit ago. Fixed your post to show why no outrage.
Interesting. No suspects yet at any party.

Put the word illegal in front of the word GUNS and you might be on to something.

The fact remains, according to FBI statistics, that a demographic that makes up about seven percent of the population is responsible for a bit more than 50 percent of the gun homicides in this country. No one will acknowledge that and try to figure out a solution for fear of being called a racist fucker.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Is that blacks in general or some subset of blacks? Because black folks are more like 13% of the population… I guarantee you that absent the guns the number of injured and killed folks would be far lower by the way.

If we outlaw cars and go back to horses and buggies we can reduce the number of traffic deaths too.

Well, let's be honest. It is what it is. We can make this a thousand page thread.
The bottom line is: it's too late. Gun sales will never stop. Illegal guns will always be out there. People are always going to be killing people.

All you can do is arm yourself if you want. Avoid areas and situations if you want. And just live your life.

Worrying about getting shot is like worrying a car is going to hit you. And thinking anyone has a solution is pissing in the wind.

I bet your wrong. Get a few laws enforced better and watch what happens.
