No one “WANTED” them to have nukes. Obama made a deal so that we could check up on them and ensure the nukes they had could be monitored.

It lifts sanctions; saves Iran’s fledgling economy; funds its sponsorship of terrorist organizations around the globe; relaxes restrictions on ballistic missiles, which are Iran’s favored method of delivering nuclear weapons; and betrays our top allies, like Israel.

It's a bad deal and side steps all the steps put in place for an actual treaty.
