There are none other than a tabloid like dog story. He worked with a lab in China just as I am sure he works with labs everywhere as a renown virologist. Dr Fauci is a hero who was one of the couple willing to stand up to Trump. Don't forget he wss one of the chief leaders against the HIV pandemic by saying it was an STD and developing anti virals in the 80s and 90s.

I'm curious as to how exactly Republicans have "played politics" with mask policies? Their position (largely) has always been that it should be up to the individual whether to wear one or not. And if the science doesn't support forcing people to wear them, I fail to see how "freedom" policies equate to playing politics.

Certain folks on the right have described the vaccine as "poison," and have described mask wearing in school as "child abuse.". Then, you have certain governors and other politicos threatening local school officials.

The science supports mask wearing indoors when threat of contagion is high. See the U-M study reported on by ABC12 as an example.

Clearly the Democrats have told him to go away or at least put a muzzle on his thoughts of Covid 19. They are behind in the polls and need to put the pandemic behind them or at least the "theater" of it.
