When ignorant union members say they’re striking for “everyone,” show them this article.

This is getting silly now.

The UAW thugs are playing in traffic, running into vehicles and now saying, “We got hit by a car!”

No sympathy from me or anyone else not in the Democratic Party.

Man. This thread has gone viral. Three days and already three replies. All from the same person.
Don’t you worry your pretty little, um, head off, butterball.

The right people are seeing this and all of the people who are sincerely defending the union have responded too.

I don't like the idea of a strike. It's sophomoric.

Furthermore the strike hurts a lot of innocent families.

I mean, if the work place is that bad, then leave to a better workplace. If they start losing good workers, they will up they pay to keep them.
There’s such a double standard.

Union thugs can stand at the entrances, block traffic, play in traffic, harass drivers, set up tents, and generally be jerks.

How about any other group try that? They would be arrested immediately.

If it makes you fell better, I have been arrested and beat up by the cops for lawful picketing.
I’m 100% against violence. I do not support cops.

Lazy union members: “Whoo-hoo! We just cost GM $1 billion in profits! HA!”

https://www.crainsdetroit.com/automotiv ... -1-billion

Reasonable people: “Yeah, but 150,000 people have either reduced wages or have been laid off because of it.”

Lazy union members: “We’re really sticking it to the man!”

Reasonable person: “First off, GM’s president is a woman. Second, workers have lost $624 million because the lazy don’t want to work.”

Lazy union member: “We’re doing this for everyone!”

Reasonable person: “No. You’re not. You’re literally only in this for yourself and those in your union. The state of Michigan is missing out on nearly $14 million because of the strike, which no UAW member can articulate why they are doing it other than their own greed.”

Lazy union member: “We can’t pay our bills!”

Reasonable people: “Get a mind of your own and cry me a river.”

When you hear these talentless, entitled, whiners say things like, “I work hard every day!” point them back to this time when they literally refused to work for a month.

Yeah. Unions are a bitch for greedy ownership/tyrannical management.

Thing is - greedy ownership and tyrannical management are what caused workers to unionize - and in some cases fight, bleed, and die to form unions.

So blame your inhumane forebears, LL101. Btw - what do you think of bosses firing workers on the basis of sexual orientation? You reveal yourself here as gay. Yet appear to be politically conservative on most issues except police brutality.
“Greedy ownership and tyrannical management?”

Where does that even exist? Who would work for such a company?! Yet, every contract cycle it’s the same thing. “The stuff we agreed to four years ago was ‘fair’ then, but it’s not now! It’s garbage now!!! More!!! We deserve MORE!!!!”

I’m against any restrictions on free speech, so if a boss wants to fire someone, based or not based on ANYTHING, including sexual orientation, I’M ALL FOR IT!!! Then, the person fired should have every right to trash the employer, spread the news around, and invite people to stop supporting that organization because of it.

It all works out when everyone’s free speech rights are respected!

Why does the vote take a week?

Have you seen how slowly these people move? I’m surprised it doesn’t take a year!

Oh, but they’re “doing this so everyone benefits.” Tell that to the thousands of people laid off because of their laziness.

As one with years of experience in these matters I can tell you it takes time to organize a ratification vote for a membership as large as this group. The NLRB sets out strict requirements that must be met for the vote to be legal and fair. The logistics for meeting these requirements are time consuming.

Ballots need to be printed up and distributed to all of the polling locations. There must be documents printed up to hand out to every member, detailing the terms of the agreement. In advance of the ratification meetings, Local Union leaders who were not part of the bargaining team must be briefed on the details of the agreement.

Proper notice must be given to every member of the time and location for their ratification meeting.

If you ever met me, you'd know how ridiculous your Union thugs" term is. I'm 5' 6" tall and 155 lb. Not the stuff that thugs are made of.
“Union thug” is a mindset. It has nothing to do with size.

Oh, and entire countries vote in one day. It doesn’t take a week to organize. The union way always takes at least twice as long and costs three times as much.

It's a shame because they are hurting so many others.
They’re lemmings. They strike because their union bosses told them to. They didn’t even know what they were striking for.

They hurt others and will never accept responsibility for it.

Do you think the union bosses got strike pay? Ha! They got FULL PAY during the strike.

Union bosses have made quite a comfortable living off the backs of others.
