Do we need a Non-Commerical portion of FM Anymore?

Post by Jeff Dugan » Thu Jul 25, 2019 5:28 pm

With more Non-Commerical FM working it’s way throughout the FM Dial, with EMF purchasing more property and the over abundance of translators rebroadcasting other religious radio is there a need for 88-92 on FM to remain non-commercial in the U.S. Why can’t the FCC just shit can this archaic idea from the early days of FM broadcasting and allow commercial radio to fill up the 88-92 MHz portion of the dial in areas that have little or no stations on that section of the dial. Just a thought.
