Maybe it's "2016" but for the Democrats this time?

Starting to think the eventual nominee has yet to declare for the office.

Is there an app out there that will alert me if an intelligent dispassionate discussion ever breaks out in the PP section?

I think that would be an exercise in futility. I get frustrated because I feel like there are some reasonably intelligent people in here but political discussions always revert to a series of pissing matches in short order.

Yes. If you hate a match don’t cross this threshold. It’s not for the weary. Instead go about doing something requiring your level of superior intelligence. Maybe brilliant Jared Kushner could use your help to bring peace to the middle east. You could be The Apprentice.

ive allowed the unhinged, hateful, negative people to affect me. I realize you cannot communicate with incivility by being civil. While ive let the libel, character attacks, partisan intolerance, etc negatively affect me, i find that a lot of the worst offenders one-up themselves with the horrible rhetoric into levels that even I couldnt think up in my messed up head. So maybe there is hope for me to lighten up in the face of the pure hate that people spew constantly.
Facebook is bad too. Ive had to block people to avoid seeing the nasty, hateful, grouchy memes they always post.
Ill tell you this. When we get a new President, they wont change. These are just angry people corrupted by an obsession with an agenda and partisanship.
When you have a guy from out of state shooting up a ballfield because the players were Republican, and people send emails to their representatives saying "I hope youre next" or "i wish he shot more" and people get assualted or thrown out of stores for wearing a campaign hat....and a teen has to sue multiple media sources for slander due misrepresenting his appearance at a rally- i think its understandable why some people lose their cool demeanor and feel civility doesnt work anymore

Ok had a chance to watch the firey exchange between Harris and Biden over busing. Harris got the better of Biden in that exchange. HOWEVER, why are they debating policies that ended 40 or more years ago? I always thought it was allegedly conservatives who are stuck living in the past.
I'm amazed that Harris was allowed to characterize busing as sound public policy in unchallenged fashion.

Ask anyone who attended Grand Rapids, MI public schools in the late 1960s; it was TERRIBLE public policy!!!

"Billary?"

I don't think that will happen Audio but at this point only 6 candidates have what is needed to proceed to the next round of debates and I just have a feeling that the person who will run against Trump will announce this fall.

Maybe Gail King will try again will convince “her BFF” Oprah to step up.

Or maybe after Robert jumps on TV and tells about the evidence documented in his Mueller Report - Donald Trump will end up being the dominant force running against a Trump reelection. But that’s iffy due to a more advanced Russian campaign of election manipulation.

The likes of google, facebook, and twitter are engaged in far more advanced, much further reaching election manipulation than the Russians could ever dream of accomplishing. And their attempts at manipulation are actually working - look at just how sympathetic people under 30 as a group are towards socialism. Just 20 years people like Bernie Sanders would be viewed as a fringe extremist. Today - his ideas are view as mainstream by the people who are addicted to big tech.

Yep.
Anti-capitalism and anti-corporation, being spewed on corporate-made phones, computers and tablets using corporate internet providers and search-engines.
"We are are against corporate greed"....says the Mcdonalds worker demanding 15 and hour to goof off, talk about private stuff with coworkers, and walk aimlessly around while you watch your food just sitting there behind the counter. Yes....this happened to me. Dude couldnt even ring up the right order on the register. But hey, $15 for that incompetence.

“Greed is Good.” — Wall Street (movie) character Gordon Gecko.

Nope. Bridled greed is good. Which is capitalism including sensible regulations.

Unbridled greed is bad. Capitalism minus regulations.

Democrats favor bridled greed.
Republicans favor unbridled greed.

It’s all capitalism. Not socialism.
