By the way - how do you like your “socialism model” medicare and social security programs and benefits?
I think both need major reforms. Especially social security - I think people should have more individual control over how to save for retirement.

That said, these aren't the positions of AOC I'm talking about. She supports free college for all, forgiving college debt, the rapid complete elimination of 100% of all fossil fuels, a 70% tax bracket, eliminating ICE, single-payer healthcare, and a guaranteed job for everyone......this is just what we know about her positions.

Many men are threatened by women with power, especially if the woman has brown skin.
Make it all about race and gender.

Typical liberal behavior.
Oh come on, bmw, take it easy on Vic and TC: it seems that at least once a week they're tripping over each other expressing their adulation for Nikki Haley.

SG - I'll concede that she has "star quality" but beyond that you're dead-wrong in why conservatives have targeted her. Simply put, she's only a few tweaks away from being a full-blown Communist, and she has power - both in government and in the public square - and anybody that far to the left of the political spectrum with that kind of power in this country should scare the hell out of anybody.
She’s no further left then an Ann Coulter or Stephen Miller is to the right... those two scare the hell out of me...
The number of lefties that I've seen call Ann Coulter a cunt online is higher than AOC can count. Ann's on your side now btw when it comes to President Trump.

A guaranteed job for everyone, IF they want one, and as long as it's not at Amazon.
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

Affordable housing programs have numerous restrictions, so she wouldn't have been eligible to reside there. A point deliberately left out of this article. It's barely factual.
Who said she should reside in Government defined affordable housing? NOT ME.
The point is a majority of housing in the area is somewhere in between the two examples.

Read this carefully:
But Ocasio-Cortez’s new building — built by leading D.C. developer WC Smith — is part of a luxury complex whose owners specifically do not offer affordable units under Washington, D.C.’s Affordable Dwelling Units program. The Washington Examiner is not naming the building or complex.
Now if her apartment is WORKFORCE housing yet not AFFORDABLE housing then this story is extremely misleading. I only suggest this because they state multiple times "the complex" not "her building". My kid is in DC, and many mixed-use developments have both reasonable and luxury housing.

Neat story but unless they offer specifics (like average rent in her building, its likely a partisan story.

On another point, why are you attacking someone who worked hard and achieved success? Jealous much?
Jealous of an economically illiterate bimbo who bartended prior to getting elected? Helping people get drunk is really something im jealous of. Youre as big a POS as Screen Glare.

And Condi still can! What’s stopping her? A loyalty pledge to Trump and the Banana Republicans marching over the cliff behind Mitch and his wife?

Probably.

Forgiving all college debt would actually make Trumps economy look like a depression... an entire generation can’t do normal milestone activities like have kids and buy a house because they are so indebted, forgiving that would light one hell of a fire under the economy...

I've made it clear in here on several occasions that I'm no fan of Ann Coulter (admittedly I know very little about Stephen Miller beyond him being a Trump adviser). But isn't this a game of what-about-ism? I thought you weren't a fan of what-about.....
Yes and no... my overarching point is that there are a lot of political people all over the place that should scare the hell out of everyone... pinning it only on “The Left” (TM) all the time is rather disingenuous...

RentJungle.com (and I can't vouch for it's accuracy) wrote:Washington Average Rent
As of January 2019, average rent for an apartment in Washington, DC is $2276 which is a 2.9% increase from last year when the average rent was $2210 , and a 0.48% increase from last month when the average rent was $2265.
The average rent quote in the article referred to a much larger geographic around DC, including Frederick MD, an hour and half drive to the Capitol Building (not counting traffic.)

The Washington Examiner sourcing this story from the Washington Free Beacon is sorta like Ann Coulter saying something is true because she heard Sean Hannity say it.

Where's Dan Crenshaw living? He campaigned on a "pulled myself up by my bootstraps" position as a veteran and one who believes in "service before self". Why are we only talking about rookie WOMEN representatives?

And honestly can't believe we are watching history repeat itself. In 2015, Donald Trump entered the national political narrative. His supporters ignored all the noise from the left and elected him. Don't you think that the more shots the right takes at Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, her supporters will increase their support?

The final point you made is probably true. In fairness, could we say the same about Trump supporters after the mefia (not a typo-they are the media mafia) smear on Covington Catholic, and potentially the Smollett case?

A bit of an exaggeration but a reasonable point. I imagine the liberal press is actively "fact checking" it. The longer it goes without a liberal or independent news organization refuting it the more likely its true.

I'd welcome to hear an actual argument from you. If you can't do that, STFU already.

I wouldn't call it libelous but given its position in the original set of posts it certainly implies an accusation toward me.

I accused nobody of anything. I made a general statement without naming a soul.
