Non-US citizens the right to vote in local elections?

Some folks just cannot resist the urge to debate current issues of the day...here's the place to satisfy your craving. Huh? What a dumb idea...

I could MAYBE see allowing those the work and pay taxes in the city to vote on tax issues, but not non-citizens.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
