Fictional Radio Stations on TV

Post by Deleted User 14803 » Sun Dec 16, 2018 6:55 pm

How many fictional Radio stations, did we have on TV and Movies, here’s a couple of coarse WKRP in Cincinnati, and I believe they were referenced to be at 1530 on at least one episode. The next WNYX from Newsradio, they had the dial position at 585,and one more from the Movie “FM” Q SKY Radio if there’s more chime in.

This topic gets churned up every few months.
That said, I liked "Remember WENN" that ran on AMC '96-'98.
KXKVI from "The Outer Limits" pilot episode "Galaxy Being."
"Frasier" set at KACL

My favorite! :D :hat The grainy black & white exterior shots of the station and tower were downright eerie.

I'm trying to remember the station calls of the short-lived sitcom from the late '60s Good Morning World.

Of course, there was KORN with Charlie Farquharson, the voice of Cornfield County on Hee Haw.

My favorite was Radio Moscow back in the 50's and 60's. It all sounded like fiction.

"K-BLUFF" from the '90s Nickelodeon series "Doug." Doug and Skeeter win Beets (Beatles pastiche) tickets from the station in one episode.

I remember watching this as a youngster. Good part starts at 2:00. This is very clearly a spoof of 70's era CKLW! LOL
