This one sentence, from the T Rump inauguration speech, makes me hopeful the T Rump presidency may be better than I thought. If it's from the heart, it the kind of change that makes me hopeful.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people.

I'm willing to give the guy a chance....not like I have a choice. But since he won 2 months ago I've been waiting for him to ACT presidential and I didn't see it happen. Specifically with his thin skin and twitter.

Another thing that impressed me was the use of the word "We". He used it a LOT. As opposed to the other guy who was big on using the word "I", OFTEN.

There are a lot of different reasons. The notion that there is one simple answer that speaks to every protester is not realistic. I have 2 daughters in Washington right now marching tomorrow. They would tell you they aren't "protesting" anything. Rather they are marching in sport of certain issues they feel are important. Some of those predate Trump and some are spurred by Trump's rhetoric.

Nazi Germany is a totally different animal than any socialism you reference... it's generally placed on the right side of the spectrum. But foreign politics don't equate very well with ours... so your comment is misplaced.
