Tucker Carlson Admits Fox News Ain’t News!

Unread post by screen glare »

What a rich opportunity for professional journalists to run video of Trump’s thousands of public lies to the American people - particularly those most consequential - split screen - with Tucker admitting Trump lies all the time. Even saying to viewers , Sorry. But he does.

As if Trump constantly telling lies to the American people is, Just who Trump is - and thus - He could have made a lot of money, Selling cars.

Only the Trump faithful believe a US president telling lies to all of us each hour of each day - is OK.

That’s how much they don’t give a damn about this nation, the sacrifices made to keep us free, our unique American values, our government institutions, our US Constitution.

They cheer at Trump’s Putin-authored division and tear-down tactics. The lawless con artist coward with his bully-style gives Trump Cult members a thrill.

Thanks Tucker. Now it’s up to the real news outlets to use Tucker’s mea culpa - to drive home the point that for years Trump TV has been nothing but Trump propaganda - which is nothing but thousands of lies.

But what is "real" news? CNN is more biased to the left than Fox is to the right (Fox has softened up its bias since the new owneship came into effect) and MSNBC makes CNN look like straight news (Rachel Maddow? Really? Shes a trustworthy news source?)

Real news? Truth in journalism? No lies by omission? Both sides of a story? More than one source? Corroborating information? Op/Ed columns labeled as such? Radio/TV Op/Eds headlined as such? Quick corrections when mistakes are made? And panel discussions featuring experts who come across equally well on TV or radio - instead of telegenic experts arguing one side and people who aren’t telegenic always on the same opposite side.

What new ownership at Fox News?
There is no new ownership its still Murdoch that owns it.
He sold the movies and the regional cable sports and kept Fox News.
Any 'softening' of Fox News is imagined. Its still the same pandering crap show its always been.

Weak troll... You should read more or something.

Tucker said FOX isn't news? Golly, did he hear that from Limbaugh or was it perhaps 45 himself?

Where have you been?

That this has actually happened, has actually been a topic of discussion on "rightwing" radio for some time now.

Bernstein is an example of a real journalist unearthing real news.
He chronicles CIA/news media cozy relationships starting around 1953 - and beginning to diminish - at media behest - decades ago.

What we now have is the Trump administration’s cozy relationship with Putin - and the puppet president obeying each string pull as he divides Americans with thousands of lies, tears down US institutions such as all government security agencies - and tries mightily to get rid of the constitutionally mandated free press because it exposes what Trump tries to hide or obscure.

The first clue of that was Trump publicly tossing around the term “fake news” when media outlets reported something he did not like. And it’s still happening - constantly. Obviously the historic and classic first step when a foreign dictator wants his puppet to help him “destroy from within” a superior democratic nation.

In case anyone didn't see it, this is the video Screen Glare is talking about.
Like CC says, Tucker fully admits that Trump lies all the time. "Almost 14,000 times so far" (his words).
Tucker Carlson also calls the president "a BS artist".
Interesting 12 minutes for sure.

Are you kidding?
That's the least credible and most naive thing I've ever read.

Some of those fairytale tellers are on both Fox and radio so they're giving themselves false self promotion. And really any pandering conservative radio personality gains by promoting Fox News.

Fox News makes money pandering to conservative viewers. Anything less means less viewers and less money.

Cable is almost as dead as radio, it appears that EVERYONE avoids it.
