Scared me.....worked with another Tim Steele in GR at WLAV
Same here
Where'd you work with Tim, TC? He was a great guy.
WLAV in 1987 - 1989. I worked there when Dennis Lemon was GM.
Wow! I was there 78-80, Lemon was the sales manager then.
Where did the coca-cola line go? 😉
:rollin I reconsidered and made a judicious edit. Dunno where Lemon is now and didn't wanna besmirch his character.
The irony is, someone else had mentioned Mr. Lemon here before and made a remark about Bolivian marching powder. I understand your dilemma. Probably a wise choice.

I worked middays on the AM when Tony Gates was FM drive. We got to be friends and hung out a little, went to see The Who at the Silverdome. I remember one day the results of the book came out and they were phenomenal for LAV. We went into Lemons office to celebrate.......that day took a few months off my life.

R.I.P. Tim Steele never heard of him I wasn't much into auto racing other than the big names in NASCAR.
