Football bets

Post by Honeyman » Fri Sep 22, 2023 1:24 pm

Figure it's about time for a thread like this. Feel free to share any bets or leans here. Even if you're not betting real money, if you feel strongly about a college/pro game, put your post where your mouth is.

I've got a substantial teaser going:

3 team 10 point teaser,(-120)
[302] 49ERS (SF) -1
[471] COWBOYS (DAL) -2
[474] CHIEFS (KC) -2½

Need KC and Dallas to win by a FG on Sunday.

I also will be large on KC as I think they boatrace the Bears Sunday.

Haven't finalized college yet, but I know I won't be betting on a certain team wearing green.

Good luck!

I don't like any of the NFL lines this week. If I had to pick one I'd take Seattle to cover -5.5 at home against Carolina and maybe Raiders outright win over Pittsburgh at home -145.

Not a bet but a prediction from me - Green Bay wins the NFC North this year.

Incredible. When was the last time an NFL team put up 70?

Fuck the Cowboys. Thanks to KC and a few on Seattle wound up putting me in the black, but it could have been a H*** day.

And fuck ND too. And fuck OSU while I'm at it.

No play on tonight's game, maybe a few on Rams ML tomorrow.

This might wind up being prophetic. NO had the game today, gave it away, and then could still win it, and blew the FG. That's the luck of the fucking Packers. Lions are sure to snatch one or two from the jaws of victory, and I can easily see GB winning the division by a game. Thursday night....hope everybody has Amazon Prine....will be a big game.

I can't seem to find a straight answer on which, if any, local stations will be carrying the Thursday night game. Does anybody know? I'm reading that Amazon Prime TNF games are broadcast on OTA stations in local markets, but I've run my local Fox, CBS, and NBC stations and none of them show football in their schedule for Thursday.

It looks like you can sign up for a free 30 day trial if you can't get it on your local stations.

Pretty sure it's literally only two stations that get it - one for each team in their home city. Fox 2 in Detroit and whatever station in Green Bay. Everyone else in Michigan and Wisconsin is outta luck.

That's just silly - the entire home market should get it.

I refuse to so much as even do a free trial, so I guess I will be listening on the radio
