MasterB nailed the teams and the seedings.

I had Bama at 3 and Texas at 4, but I can certainly see why the committee gave Texas the 3 seed given its early season win in Tuscaloosa.

For those curious, the committee had FSU at fifth and Georgia at sixth.

OR, if we really wanted to be "fair" we could just leave out Michigan entirely for cheating and instead put in Washington, Texas, Georgia, and Alabama. :lol
Michigan didn't cheat.

C'mon now, there's no way Michigan could've beaten Purdue, Nebraska, Minnesota or Michigan State without Stalions' illegitimately obtained Intel! 🤣

Those programs are all mighty as hell!

ROLL TIDE!!!!

Would have been totally unfair for cheating Michigan to waltz into the CFP championship game playing FSU.

Cheaters open as a 2 1/2 point favorite. EDIT: BET down to 1 1/2 in the first hour

Which is really the baffling part - why did they feel the need to cheat to beat these teams?

That's what I show too. They are a bit of an outlier though. 1 1/2 now everywhere else.

This will fluctuate for the next month. I'm thinking it'll end up Bama -1. If you are planning on betting Michigan, my advice is to wait.

I do feel bad for Florida State. They are victims of an idiotic playoff system. The fact there aren't enough spots to ensure the best team from each of the power five conferences gets in is beyond stupid.

Georgia fucked up everything by losing yesterday. There would've been minimal controversy had they prevailed against Bama. They, Michigan, Washington and FSU would've been the four teams for sure.

You're probably right, MW. And I feel for FSU too, if it was my university, I would be incensed.

There were some very harshly worded press releases issued by the university this afternoon. They are indeed incensed.

Heard Norvell's statement and pretty much agreed with everything he said. But I don't think you can argue with the fact that UM-Bama will be a better game than UM-FSU.

If I was going to bet I would bet Alabama on the money line so if I bet I need to jump on it.

I think so. I don't see any big line shifts, but the money should go towards Bama. I already put a few bucks down on the Tide.
