This will fluctuate for the next month. I'm thinking it'll end up Bama -1. If you are planning on betting Michigan, my advice is to wait.
If I was going to bet I would bet Alabama on the money line so if I bet I need to jump on it.

Likely an SEC bias thing. I'm not saying Michigan is definitely going to win, but the advanced stats put the team in a good position.
There's a lot of reasons. Sabans stats in this situation are remarkable. Something like 5-0 vs. #1 teams. 7-1 in CFP semis. Saban might be a complete prick, but is probably the best head coach in the history of the game. Add in a month for him to game plan and Harbaughs terrible recored in bowl games and you can see why bettors would back Bama.

I can't argue much of what you're saying, but this Michigan team seems different. Will it matter? We'll see.

Really looking forward to a great game. I rewatched the Georgia-Bama game and was beyond impressed with the Alabama OL. They owned the line, and this was against Georgia. They have a couple guys that are pushing 370. Michigan has a great DL, so that will really be the key.

Well, whoever buckeye QB is come Cotton Bowl time, 95% sure he won't have Marvin Harrison Jr. to throw to....
lidoshuffle will be eating lunchables for dinner for the next week. He didn't realize that the XXXL Wolverine shirts at Walmart cost extra.
Once again a reminder, there are no Walmarts in Ann Arbor....
However there are two (2) Walmarts in Lansing/Okemos, for your shopping convenience...

Walmart is too upscale for Sparty; I think those folks prefer Dollar General. :)

I don't see a high scoring game. I'm thinking 24-13 Tide.

I still see Michigans slow motion offense as a liability against anybody who doesn’t play in the big 10… which is something we haven’t been able to test since we never ever play anybody good in the first few games.

East Carolina and whoever else simply don’t count for Jack squat even if you combine all 3.

Plus Michigan just doesn’t show up for bowl games.

Don't know what the criterion is for the list above and refuse to give BSPN a click to find out. But rating last years Michigan team ahead of TCU, who beat them, proves it's worthless

To be fair, it is based on entering the game. Also, JJ threw 2 bad pick sixes.

Then why is Michigan ranked 20 slots higher than Washington this year? Same record and UW had a much more difficult strength of schedule.

This is completely worthless.
