Chase field hasn't had natural grass since 2019. What a very welcome change to not see H*** chunks of brown grass all over the field!

Side note: It is always fun to go to Dbacks vs Tigers games, where 80% of the fans had Tigers gear on.

Because it's not configured to accommodate baseball?

Neither was the L.A. Coliseum when the Dodgers moved there, but they made it work for a few years till Dodger Stadium was built. And plenty of other stadiums that were used for both sports.

I don't think any sane person thought that worked out well in the LA Coliseum.
You can always chalk out a football field in a baseball stadium but the reverse NEVER works out well.
If the stadium was built for football you just can't get an acceptable outfield shape or distance down one of the foul lines.

And bring your own entertainment along with Tylenol. Flew Spirit to Vegas a few years ago and felt so sore at the end. I’ll fly Frontier/Spirit for an hour flight tops now.

Given Southwest's litany of tech and logistical issues lately, I might actually be more inclined to fly Spirit over Southwest these days.
