How does the NFL targeting young females help them grown their audience among young males? And btw, I highly doubt that a lone halftime performance is going to grow their audience for each upcoming season.
Go search viewership. My daughter watched the game just to see Rihanna. It seems to have worked to grow viewers.

If you have ever watched Fox News you should be familiar with cheap stunts to get viewers.
I think bmw brings up a good point. Great to hear your daughter tuned into the halftime show.
May we inquire as to how often your daughter watches NFL games during the regular season?

Not quite sure how the Fox News comment is apposite to the conversation. I've noticed since I've been perusing this board that you often tend to be the first to lead a thread away from the topic at hand. Focus my friend.

I completely disagree with everyone's suggestions for what the Eagles should have done on the last play - and I thought this at the time they ran it. They were at the 36-yard line with 0:06 to go. Their kicker, Jake Elliott, has a career long of 61 yards. That means they could have reasonably attempted a field goal from about KC's 45 yard line or so. They SHOULD have sent out a wide receiver on each side - one running a 20-yard-route and the other a short route. If the long guy is open, try to get up to around the 45 with a second left. If not, go short and set yourself up for a shorter hail mary attempt. Certainly seems like a higher percentage play than any of their other options, including the play they actually ran.

Philly has lost its DC and OC. They are now the new head coaches of Arizona and Indy, respectively.
