I've see C. J. Stroud as the Lions pick on a couple mock drafts.

That would be a terrible pick. He hasn't declared yet...

Who do we have as a backup now?

Nate Sudfeld--yeah, I hadn't heard of him either.

Drafting a QB that high would be for only one purpose, to sit for a year or two. I can't believe a team on the cusp of playoff contention would "waste" a first round pick on a position of no immediate need.

The Lions are in a good position to trade down should a quarterback-needy team present itself and Stroud or someone like Will Levis is still on the board.

I'm not convinced Stroud is the answer, and I agree the Lions have plenty more pressing needs. And there is no reason to decide on Goff, cut or extend him, this year.

Lions got fucked. They should be playing in a few hours.

BTW, gonna be pouring in SF during that game. Supposed to be very windy too. I'm playing the under and throwing a little on the Hawks.

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda…:that’s how it is most years with this fan base.

I'm glad to see someone FINALLY addressing this!

The sun was shining for about half the S.F. / Seattle game.

Miami sure shit the bed in the late 4th quarter today.

That delay of game penalty late on 4th and a few inches may be the biggest proverbial "shitting of the bed" I've ever seen in football. How in the world were they not able to get a play off? And the play they actually tried to run? That shoulda been a quick line-up-and-run-a-sneak. I don't get it.

Exactly!

Burning their last timeout with over 4:00 on the game clock was also very foolish.

Mike McDaniel has an uncanny resemblance to early 90s WWF heel manager Harvey Wippleman.

Ben Johnson is staying on as Offensive Coordinator.

Very happy that Ben Johnson is staying as Lions OC I was hoping he would stay and not take a head coaching job.

I agree that Mike McDaniel looks like Harvey Wippleman.

Good news, glad to hear it. I figured the odds greatly favored him staying since he's been an OC for all of one whole year plus a little bit.
