SAIGON Kick, (Since Saigon is now Ho Chi Mihn City that also might be more historical than geographical.)

Casey Kasem did a bit about this on AT40 once, naming all the bands named after cities that had gone to #1. He missed one, which listeners filled in later: The Kingston Trio (named after the capital of Jamaica).

The Spinners were known as The Detroit Spinners in the U.K. (Similarly, The Beat became The English Beat in the U.S.)

If nationalities used as adjectives count add The Irish Rovers, The American Breed, Jay & The Americans. Also The Kentucky Headhunters (country act).

If nationalities used as last names count, there was also Nicki French (British one-hit wonder who covered "Total Eclipse of the Heart" in the mid-'90s) and Scott English (recorded "Brandy" which went on to become Barry Manilow's breakthrough hit, "Mandy").

Also The Kentucky Headhunters (country act).

I remember the Kentucky Headhunters, (Dumas Walker, Walk Softly On This Heart Of Mine.) They were kind of fun.

Sorry, that was already mentioned.

Bruce Springsteen And The E STREET Band
Southside Johnny And The ASHBURY Dukes

There are also bands names Mississippi, Missouri, and Toronto, though I know very little about them. (Some members of Mississippi ended up in the original version of The Little River Band. I saw the names Missouri and Toronto on a Blue Oyster Cult and Journey gig list respectively.)
