The light show was great. The playing was fantastic. The vocals....well, that's another story.

They did just fine......They are The Who......They are timeless....let's see you do better. If you can't then maybe you should not be getting down on those who can.

Please post audio of you doing better. I seriously doubt you are in the same zip code as The Who......god knows you have been proven wrong on your broadcast opinions time and time again, this will just prove to be one more time.

One of the better halftime shows I've seen. I thought the vocals were respectable. A little more punch on that audio channel for the TV viewers would've been nice. That's the audio guy's fault, not the performers'.

The Janet Jackson fiasco was a blessing in disguise. Prior to that incident, the Halftime Show was loaded with lip syncing pop sluts and gangbangin' hip-hop thugs year after year. It was all of this MTV garbage. I was beginning to wonder if the NFL forgot who primarily watches football games.

I've been enjoying the Classic Rock oriented halftime shows in recent years, although the Rolling Stones set in Detroit a few years ago was quite cheesy (very fitting that something associated with Detroit was done half-assed).

Enjoyed the show. :) I didn't think Daltrey still had it in him. Townshend looked like a slob, however. What's with the shirt hangin' out and the exposed belly? :x A "middle-aged waistland"? :lol

:?: Was there a bass player on the stage?

The last time I heard Carrie Underwood do the National Anthem, her voice broke up an octave on the concluding "O'er the land of the FREEEEE...", a big and all-too-common musical cop-out. This time she didn't -- bravo -- but her pitch throughout was all over the place. :x GAWD!
