It’s to bad he pasted R.I.P. Peter Tork. Now as far as The Monkees go I hated them, They were in the Same category as The Partridge Family, The Cowsills, The Osmonds and to a small degree The Brady Bunch, It was that TV Show Crossing over to music crap that was out in The 60’s and 70’s prefabricate music crap. Just my opinion.

Now they had great music.
Definitely were more successful on the charts than the others. And heavy radio play

The Monkees were Mainstream/Pop. A few tracks were a little edgy. I preferred the Music to the TV Show, which was a little too goofy and campy. The TV show was clearly intended for young girls to ogle them and ooh and ahh over Davy Jones. The goofy antics were intended for the young boys. Every young girl had "Daydream Believer" on a 45. Some are still looking for their old copy, I can attest to that.

Is THAT where they got the idea for the 486-SX?

Back in the Summer of 1976, channel 50 in Detroit showed the reruns of The Monkees TV series. WJRT 12 in Flint did NOT showed them back in the Summer of 1976 but ABC showed it on Saturday mornings from late 1972 till mid 1973. WSMH FOX 66 in Flint showed The Monkees reruns in the Summer of 1986.

The Monkees (Peter Tork) song "Your Auntie Grizelda" (from 1967 "More Of The Monkees") should have been done by Green Day!!!
