Hide threads

Post by ZenithCKLW » Mon May 14, 2018 2:11 pm

MW,

I'm aware of the friend/foe feature, but is there a way to hide entire threads? Some uninteresting or inflammatory threads keep popping up into endless perpetuity, page after page of comments, that I have no intention of reading or participating in.

Just curious, no biggie if not possible.

I'm unaware of any built-in functionality for that.

It's an interesting question. I'm gonna see if I can find an add-on extension for such a feature. I'll let you know within the next couple days if I have any luck.

That would be nice. The Jim Price Stinks thread stopped being interesting years ago with the same comments rehashed over and over.

Just a comment- just because one person does not care for a thread does not mean that person speaks for all

My question was meant to provide a way to hide the thread from my view, and not alert me to new messages in said thread. It wouldn't affect anyone else's ability to view and comment. So if I had zero interest in a thread and I hid it from my view, it wouldn't affect you at all. There are threads that I think are boring or inflammatory, and you may find it to be interesting. I just want the ability to hide it from my view, so I don't have to see it every time I log in.
