If Haiti, for 10 years, has been a level 4 (most unsafe) country in terms of travel restrictions issued by US state dept, I can’t see how Mitch justified continuing his work and travels there and simultaneously expecting safe US sanctioned travel back.

One can applaud his charity work for the orphanages there at the same time question the wisdom risking his own safety and that of the fellow charity workers.

Assuming he’s helping a few dozen kids there, couldn’t he bring them here, sponsor the kids here under an asylum claim, and cut his ties to further work there to preserve his safety.

Logic says , at this point, He needs to fund his own navy seal team 6 as part of his charity group, to handle the travel and logistics.

He's only one of hundreds of people doing missionary work in Haiti. I doubt he was the only person extracted.

Haiti has been horrible for years. We can thank the billionaires for this as the poor have gotten poorer around the world hurdling poor countries into anarchy and mob rule.
