I think it would help more if they threw the book at DUI’s more… the number of “he had 8 prior DUI’s before the deadly crash(!)” stories is high. One of those breath ignition interlocks would be a good requirement. Remove it and the computer shorts out permanently and it’s just a big paperweight now. Make it something almost impossible to find and fix.

The media and progressive politicians are in a holding pattern over this shooting. Apparently waiting to determine the race of the shooter to see if they should start banging the white male extremist/gun control drum or bury the story and move on.

3 suspects are in custody. So that information is out there.

Well, one of the witnesses described one of the suspects as a Black male in his upper teens. If the suspects are indeed minors, that could explain why the names haven’t been released yet.

And that will explain why this story will quickly die and Democrats won't milk it for political points.

Or the new narrative will be that the parents will also be charged. That would be a start.

Guns kill 3 times more people each year.

In 2021, there were a total of 48,830 firearm deaths, an increase of 3,608 or 8% from 2020.
